This Privacy Policy describes how ShoppyWelb Inc. ("ShoppyWelb", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our commerce operations platform, website, and associated services (collectively, the "Services").

1. Data Processor vs. Data Controller

ShoppyWelb operates primarily as a B2B SaaS platform. For the data of merchants/vendors ("Vendors") who register for our Services, ShoppyWelb acts as the Data Controller. For the data of end-customers ("Shoppers") who interact with Vendors via WhatsApp or our storefronts, ShoppyWelb acts purely as a Data Processor on behalf of the Vendor. Vendors are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from Shoppers before utilizing our automation features.

2. Information We Collect

  • Vendor Information: When you register, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number, and billing information.
  • KYC Documentation: To comply with financial regulations and ensure platform trust, we may collect government-issued ID, business registration documents, and proof of address.
  • End-Customer Data: We process Shopper names, phone numbers (for WhatsApp APIs), delivery addresses, and order histories strictly to provide the Services to the Vendor. We may also process basic interaction data from social channels (like TikTok) if linked to your storefront.

3. Third-Party Integrations & Platform Compliance

ShoppyWelb integrates with the WhatsApp Business API (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and TikTok's APIs (ByteDance Ltd.). By using our messaging and content automation, you acknowledge that message content, video metadata, and interactions may be routed through Meta's or ByteDance's infrastructure and are subject to their respective Business Terms of Service. We also share necessary data with third-party mobile money (MoMo) gateways and logistics couriers solely to facilitate your transactions and deliveries.

4. Data Retention

We retain Vendor Information and KYC documentation for as long as your account is active, and for a legally mandated period thereafter to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) and financial reporting regulations. End-Customer data is retained only as instructed by the Vendor or as required by law.
